Gibraltar Point at the start of the Wash on the Lincolnshire coast is a favourite of mine. Apart from the wonderful opportunities to see wildlife, especially birds, it offers the landscape artist lots of scope too. One November day I walked south along the beach until I could go no further unless I fancied getting wet and muddy. I just used my camera that day to record the ever changing patterns of light and this painting is the result.
