I once saw a lino cut of gulls feeding behind a plough and decided I would try to create a similar scene of my own. The problem was I could never find a tractor close enough to a road or a decent vantage point. Then one day I spotted this one working in my village and I was able to park up right beside him and take a few photos. The painting proved to be lot trickier than I thought it would be though.
