Most years I enter a painting in the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition at the Mall Galleries, London. There is such fierce competition but twice in the last few years I have been successful and had paintings selected for show. This little painting was one of them.
It shows the view from our back garden looking across the Nent valley. I added silver to my washes to indicate the light shining off the fields after rain.
