These mountains in the Highlands of Scotland are like nothing else I have ever seen. They stand like old warriors and have wonderful names like Canisp, Quinag and Suilven. The day we were there a chap told us that in 25 years of trying to photograph them this was the first time he had managed to see them all at once! Beginners luck I guess. I deliberately kept the foreground simple in this one to highlight the real stars of the show.
An alert viewer has now informed me that from the left the mountains are Canisp, Suilven, Cul Mor, Cul Beag and Stac Pollaidh. Thanks.
