The spire of St. James' dominates Louth in Lincolnshire, our home town. Unusually for me this has been completed using charcoal, a lovely medium to paint with. I like the occasional challenge of painting very complicated scenes but not over complicating them. Like most paintings it's a balancing act. I hope I don't have to explain the title!
